The Brand Inspiration

Most brands have a muse. Ours has been adored for centuries.

Long before ZEHD existed, its essence already lived on; through beauty, and desire. Not in a person. Not in a trend. But in Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love, known to the Romans as Venus.

She is the oldest symbol of feminine power, beauty, and the magnetic pull of desire. She became our muse. The soul of this brand.

The Origin

Raymond Ray believed that art, made with intention, outlives everything. He sought for a foundation worthy of that timeless belief. He found it in leather and a love for art.

In 1995, his mother Madame Rose had established the craft - a small contemporary artisan house built on the art of sewing and the devotion of her hands. No grand label. No blueprint. Just passion and a deep love for creating something beautiful. What she built was quiet. But it was real. And it was lasting.

Raymond saw what it could become.

He took that foundation and gave it a Parisian home, a vision, and a future. He designed every piece, and led the creative direction. From that vision came Záhà - the brand's flagship and leather bag collection, each piece conceived by Raymond and crafted by Madame Rose's masterful hands. He expanded the house into Health & Beauty. He built the architecture that turned a quiet craft into The House of ZEHD.

Raymond has always considered perfume the finishing touch on a dress. The house launched its first fragrance (Melrose) the scent was heavily sprayed in the salons during the Paris fashion show. The next line of perfume (De'Sire) went on to become the brand’s best-selling fragrance on Amazon and its TikTok platform of 55K followers.
